NO Change in BP During Exercise!

Posted , 1 user is following.

My son is 10 and has had 2 exercise tests, one yesterday, that show his blood pressure does not change at all during exercise. He is normally tachy, 110-135, and started the test with pulse at 135 and it went to 176 for a minute. He only lasted 6 minutes because he said he was extremely dizzy; BP didn't change - 102/60 --

Also, nurse could only get three BP's (one with doppler) because she couldn't hear pulse.

Looking to see if this is any concern long term or any insight - what should I expect with exercise, is it dangerous to push him? (Cardiologist wants to refer him to the Mayo Clinic).

He's diagnosed unknown autonomic dysfunction
