No one knows what's wrong...

So I have a lengthy history of what's wrong with me and I'm hoping someone can chime in with some help. So I am an extremely active athletic person before this health problem I was never sick never got hurt had nothing to do with hospitals, now 24. in the summer of 2015 I began experiencing things totally out of the blue. I began getting sharp pain in my stomach and I started to get a lot of canker sores. I was working one day and my neck felt tight. My neck usually got tight every now and then because I played 10 years of football and had multiple concussions (7-8). So I went to the gym that night, I was a very active lifter and did shoulders (heavy military press). When I got home my neck stung so bad I was convinced I slipped a disc. That night my feet started tingling. Next day I went to the doctors they took X-rays and didn't see much but wanted an MRI. Got an MRI was told I had a very small stenosis in my neck and degenerative disc disease but that it wasn't affecting my spinal cord. I was told to just go neck excercises and to go to chiropractor. My neck pain went down but to this day I still have a tight neck on one side that gets very sore, like a dull pain. A couple months passed with the pain and I developed muscle muscle fasciculations all around my body. One moment it would be in my calves then it would be in my triceps then in my cheek etc. got worried went to doctors and was tested for Lyme came back negative. Doctor said they were benign and to not worry about it. Then a couple more months pass and i develop eye floaters in one eye and I develop really blurry vison but it would come and go. Went to eye doctor and was given glasses for distance. I also was told I had a stigmatizm in one eye. More time passes and develop a ringing in my ears which is still to this day pretty constant. My joints began to hurt standing killed my knees and if I decided to croutch my knees would be destroyed. I again put that with years of lifting and football. My vision was affected again now with the floaters in my left eye i also have clear circles and strings in my vision, I also get this little circles that I can see flying almost in formation in circles when I look at something light such as the sky. My foot began to feel weak so I was convinced I had ms with all the symptoms I was experiencing. My doctor pretty much told me I was crazy for thinking Ms but got tests done anyways all tests including MRI and neurological visit came back negative. I went on through out the summer with most of the same symptoms some would come and go. Then this past winter I started to get worse. I started to get testicle pain random sharp pains I began to wore because well who wouldn't. I started to develop floaters in my right eye as well so now I have them in both eyes. I started to get cold spots on my feet and legs but my legs were warm. I started to get the cold spots on my hands and forearms. My hands started to feel like they shakenvey slightlty. I developed this very tight feeling in my throat like my muscle in the front of my neck were like constricted. My lymph nodes began to blow up. So again i go to the doctors and she tells me it's my slavitory glands that are enlarged under my jaw and beneath my ears. I was in the midst of getting a law enforcement job so my doctor told me it was all stress and anxiety and she believes that I have health anxiety. Even though i expressed my concerns with ms she said that the symptoms are too symmetrical and that I need to stay off the internet. She scheduled me with a neurologist to test for nerve damage for the cold feeling. I also took the western blot because my joint pain got worse and i have cracks in my shoulder and knees whenever I move them. It came back positive band IGG 41. That is it. She said it was inconclusive of Lyme and that it meant I was just exposed to it at some point as I live in Massachusetts I am very suseptible. I know that I am not crazy because I know my body I have done sports my whole life, I know my body and I know when something is wrong.

Side note. I was tested as well for my thyroid which came back low so was tested again and came back fine.

    Hey,

After reading this I can totally relate to your symptoms. In Summer 2015 most of the above symmtoms came upon me, eye floaters, numbness and tingling sensations, muscle twitching, head pressure and slight dizziness feeling. I also shake a lot when doing any form of situp or pull up etc, but this had never happened me before and i was always very active, im a 25 year old male btw.  And to this day I still have those symptoms. Ive had a spinal MRI and head MRI, all clear. Seen a neuro who said I was mostly fine, thought I may have silent migraines and prescribed me Beta Blockers (which dont help). Ive seen an optholmologist who ruled out any eye issues. Ive had a neck XRay which was fine, all blood tests have been fine. I really am struggling to find out what this is to be honest. It obviously is something. ive been going to physio for the stiff neck etc. I also have a swollen lymph node under the skin in the left side of my neck which has been there for ages (GP told me not to worry about it). The only thing that did pop up for me was a massive intolerance to dairy (which I have only eliminated from my diet in the past 10 days) I am sceptical on Food Intolerance Tests though... Day to Day motivation for me in so low. Prior to this i was a very outgoing person but now I have no motication for anything its so so frustrating!

The above have naturally caused me to be more anxious as I havent a clue whats wrong with me. My next step is probably getting tested for Lyme Disease as its my only option now as i'm pretty sure my doc is fed up seeing me...

It would be interesting to see if you also test positive for exposure to Lyme. My doctor is not an llmd and I have heard from many people that testing positive on the western blot even partially is good enough to be diagnosed with the symptoms we present.

Were you tested for infections, other than lyme, like EBV, CMV.

Seems you may have gotten reactive arthritis from the infections, and maybe affected your vision. Testicle pain also would result from the same.

Its common (85% have it)  to have those infections, therefore they do not test them. But your symptoms maybe from those and they can also be transmitted with sexual contact.
