I had it confirmed today that I have Chronic Pancreatitis. It was almost discovered 'by accident'.  My pancreas has got inflammation scars, calcification, cysts, tissue changes. I have no symptoms. Anybody else in same situation ?

Sorry to hear that! But start your research now, you are very lucky to not have pain, but the pain is what reminds us how to eat so you stilll need to pay close attention to that. Do you have fatty stools and digestive issues? How did they find it, what test did they do?

      Hi,

I had been suffering with chronic diarrhea for 4 months, as a result I had many test...blood, faeces, colonoscopy x2, ultrasound..where a, what looked like a stone, in pancreastube was discovered. Therefor i had a gastroscopy and that is where they discovered all this. My diarrhea has more or less settled now. It is all rather rare. Almost waiting for this time bomb to go off.  I have done so much research but can't really find anybody with the same 'problem' as I have. It realise I am lucky not to have any pain and hopefully it will stay like this.

Thank you for your comments and will certainly heed your advice on watching my diet.
