non-droppable mugs

Hi Everyone,

my mother suffers Fibromyalgia. She often drops mugs. We use plastic ones at home. They don't break, however we need to clean the floor every time when it happens. Mum feels troublesome. I would like to help her. Could you please recommend me where to buy "non-droppable" mugs?

Thank you.

I would suggest ebay or seaside shops.  My kids have thick plastic mugs which when you drop them they don't break.  Theirs have their names on.  Maybe you could get ones with 'Mum' on so it doesn't feel childish.

Thank for tips. I also found some mugs for kids, but i am wondering that as you Julie suggest, it may be too childish.

I'm not sure that is related to fibro. Although, that used to happen to me. Things would just fall out if my hand. But I have spinal issues. It actually sounds more neuromuscular, but I'm no expert.

I doubt there is anything non-droppable. But containers with twist lids (similar to the ones at Starbucks) and a handle will help her hold onto the cup, it won't break and there is only a hole for the liquid to come out of. I would say sippy cups, but that is downright demeaning. But they surely have suction based cups like for sports that are spill proof.
