Non healing meatitis

Oral exposure led to urethritis and meatitis.  It’s two months now.   Treated with doxy and anti-virals.  Dysuria is gone but meatitis shows no sign of leaving.  Help!

    Hi,

same with me. Brief oral exposure with stripper. Tried everything (4 types of AB, ibubrufen, valtrex), tested for everything (C, G, T, my, HSV1, 2, Ureo), all negative several tymes. It's now 5 month and it is killing me. It's almost good for a 2-3 days, than it comes back for a 1-2 days. Did you find any cure or at least cause?

    Thanks and good luck

have you gotten your total leucocyte count tested?  If it is elevated you are harbouring an infection.  Please mail me privately at

have you tried applying a topical anti-fungal ointment?

can't identify the cause and there is no treatment.  I took lots of antibiotics and they helped to get rid of the dysuria from the chlamydia that I simultaneously contracted.  But there is no improvement in the meatitis.  Would you care to exchange phone numbers so that we can talk about it?  Homoeopathic medicines seem to help.

they didn't work so no point naming them.  try a locally applied anti-fungal cream.

I have had this for 6 months and been bouncing around to multiple Drs and specialists. I’ve done every test possible and about to break down.

I’m tired of being in pain every single day on my dick.

I am sorry to hear this.  I am going through exactly the same thing.  No doctor knows what it is or how to treat it - however one very old doctor suggested candid b cream to be applied locally.  It contains a steroid and an anti-fungal agent.  It has had the effect of decreasing the sensitivity and the pain upon movement - a most welcome development.  You may try it - you have nothing to lose.

Have you done a swab test? I had numerous urine cultures, full sti panel, all sorts of blood work and nothing. Evntually, after begging for an old school swab results came back in minutes. meatitis caused by strep group a. it was resistant to all antibiotics, including doxy, cipro, and azithro. put on penicillin immediately and should be done suffering soon - after months. good luck!

Hey guys! Any news from anyone of you?

I have the suspicion it could be something with viruses. (HSV1/2, Adeno, CMV, EBV...)

cause none of the 4 antibiotics which I got helped, so I will be doing virus tests (through blood and urine) tomorrow.

If anyone has the same problems right now - please text me !!
