Non- Painful/ Non-Infected Bartholin Cyst

please help.

there is a lot of info on Bartholin abscess but not much for non-painful, non-infected bartholin cyst. ive had mine for 4 years+ but as of the last year ive hated how hideous it looks.

i am a fan of natural cures and it feels like ivr tried almost everything. ivr spent so much money on oils, herbs, blood cleansers, PRID, and homeopathic medicine, etc.

if youve had a NON-PAINFUL, NON-INFECTED BARTHOLIN CYST, could you please advise how you were able to shrink or rupture the cyst.

although i appreciate the support from each of you, i really just want to know from women in my exact situation. im desperate and sad. this consumes so much of my mental capacity

Hello, could you please share links or names of the type of yogurt you use? I would like to get an idea about it (do you wash with yogurt the one used to drink?)

I had my cyst for 4 years as well, same situation, non-painful and non-infected. I tried many vitamins and natural remedies. Nothing ever helped or even slightly reduced the size. In the end, I agreed to a marsupialization. I'm not sure what your circumstances are but after wasting years of trying to cure it naturally and being afraid of an operation, I wish I would've just done the marsupialization sooner. I know this wasn't the answer you were looking for but I completely understand your emotions, I too was sad and desperate and spent countless hours doing research for a homeopathic cure. I had my operation almost 5 years ago and it never came back.

While the supplement Serrapeptase never worked for me, if you haven't given it a go, I suggest trying it, many women had success with it. Goodluck.

ugh that makes me sad Diane. None of my doctors will do the marsupilization because its not big enough. This is at least the 5th doctor I've seen. Ive watched the actual surgery being performed on YouTube and it looks terrifying.

may i ask, on a scale of 1-10 how bad was the pain during ans after the surgery?

My doctor gave me the option of being put to asleep or staying awake. I asked to be put to sleep. The whole thing took 30 mins. I felt absolutely no pain after mine. I'd rate it a 2 as there was some slight discomfort the first few days sitting down. The stitches were dissolvable and I cant quite remember how long it took for them to go away but at my 4 week follow up everything looked great. The first 2 doctors I saw said since mine wasn't causing any pain and was never infected that they just wanted to leave it alone. I wasn't happy and saw a third doctor who said not treating something on your body that is not supposed to be there was senile lol. Maybe you will find a doctor who will treat it. I definitely feel your frustration though, and I'm so sorry you have to go through this.

Hello Diane. After marsupialization the the little hole they left keep that way until now? Mine closed 1 month after marsupialization and my cyst is back 😦

it might be worth asking your doctor about using silver nitrate. I know this can help in some cases. good luck!

I've had mine for about a year now and it never is really painful or got infected, just huge and annoying and hurts if I sit too long. Went to the gyno today and she told me that the cyst stopped draining completely so a procedure is inevitable at this point...I have a procedure for a word catheter scheduled next wednesday. What helped me before it got to this point was sex (which ended up draining it) or witch hazel and baths. I am so sorry I am not more help but I will update you after the procedure to see if it's worth it.

Make sure it doesn't close or it will be a waste of time and money. The two weeks after the procedure are painful specially when you sit, and the bleeding is there for the first weeks.
