Norco prescription cancelled

I have been taking 4 Norco per day for the past 8 years. My pain management doctor told me three months ago that I should not be taking Temezapam while on Norco. I’ve also had that prescription for eight years. The last time I had a Temazapam was in April. Supposedly a urine test on 5/29 still showed the drug in my system plus alcohol. I don’t drink and believe that it is impossible for this-sleeping aid to stay in my system that long. Also, I have had a theft happen with my Norco for the past 3 months. Whoever it is cracked my dual combo security box and found two other hiding places. I believe that I was also judged aridk because I was robbed??  Has anyone else had anything like this happen?  I am 70 years old and not only have Fibromyalgia, but COPD as well. I am now in pain and finding it difficult to function at all without pain relief. I know that our society is looking do n on folks like me with chronic pain being treated with opioids    What I did not understand is how I am going to live without their help  After so many years of taking Norco just d creasing the dosage is putting me into withdrawal mode. The coming two weeks will be the most stressful of my life as I am losing my house that I’ve lived in for over 18 years. I was already having trouble being physically able to pack up to move and now it’s totally impossible. I’m texting this lying flat on my back.

I couldn’t possibly fit the profile of someone who might scam drugs by saying that pain Los hav been stolen, but when I reported it to the police the officer told me in a condescending tone that the NARCs would be contacting me and did I really want that?  I told her, yes, that’s exactl what I want. Guess what, no one contacted me after my initial report. So now like the ol’ retired me is a lyer as well I guess. I’m incensed by the waycIve been treated and wishvthere were som I at to get justice here, but now I don’t want anything to do with opioids now that all this has happened. I have no idea what to do now. I called my primary physician last Wednesday and she hasn't called me back either

I would keep calling your primary dr.  Someone should call you back. That is not right.  They shouldn't expect you to go cold turkey off of meds you have been on that long. I know this won't be the same as you're used to, but  I use Xstr Tylenol, plus several topicals  (NSAIDs give me stomach pains)--- Aspercreme, one by the NOW company with arnica plus MSM, Arnica cream.  There are also now topicals made with cannibas /hemp extract  (not psychoactive) that just work on physical pain receptors, not the mind.  There are 2 companies now selling them online. Just google it.  I've tried both.  They're pricey, but do work.  I also have a prescription for Tramadol, but rarely use it because it is so constipating and makes me so drowsy, I'm afraid to drive when I take it.  You might want to try mineral baths like Epsom salts, esp. before bed.  Nature's Alchemy makes blends of different minerals and essential oils for the bath that really help sore muscles.  I hope you can get through to someone who will phone something in for you. You shouldn't have to suffer.

It wasn’t supposed to be completely cold turkey, but the last prescription I was sippos d to have got stolen minus 8 pills. Doctors don’t seem to want to here that because they assume that you’re hanged no out with the wrong people I guess. That’s not me, I spend to much time alone in a big house that I’m living alone in and having to move out of within the next two weeks. I’m called by my GP back in the morning.
