Normal anxiety feelings?

Posted , 3 users are following.

I have a very fast metabolism, so I have to eat between breakfast and lunch, and before bed. If I don't have something before bed I feel like I am going to faint, and my face gets numb, and I feel awful, but these are the symptoms I get when I have anxiety. Are they normal?

Have you had your blood sugar tested? Have some blood tests done. If they're all negative then in short yes. These can all be anxiety symptoms, whats more logical is you THINK if you don't do something you will faint do you get anxious which makes you feel faint. If the symptoms you get only happen at a certain time of the day like you say you can almost guarantee they're anxiety. Your body has no concept of time to know to only be ill in the evening, if you're ill you're ill all day long...

I've had lots of blood tests done, tyroids, blood sugar, iron, calcium, every single blood test came back normal 😫

Why do you sound unhappy?... That's a good thing Lucy. You're healthy. I'd rather THINK I have problem with myself than actually have a problem, like I said before, an illness isn't situational. You'd have it all day. So you need to learn coping mechanisms for the triggers you have, your trigger is obviously if you think you haven't eaten enough food at a certain time you get anxious. You should try speak to your GP about a therapist.

      Good luck,
