Normal reference range for aldosterone levels?

Posted , 1 user is following.

Hello, I recently had my aldosterone levels checked around 2:30 in the afternoon. The levels came back at 2.6 ng/dl I am a 26 year old male my dhea-s levels have also been consistently low cortisol is normal. On my labs, the reference range is 0-30. I visited my doctor who told me that is a normal range, you can have zero of aldosterone. Is this correct? If not what is a reference range for aldosterone? I can find a consistent answer on the internet. Renin was 1.371 ng/ml/hr and aldosterone renin ratio was 1.9 ng/dl per ng/ml/hour. Just for what its worth.
