Im on day 11 taking 20mg of fluoextine, in the morning. First week was fine but the last 2 nights i have not slept at all. My heart races and im wide awake. I even tried to have an afternoon nap but i havent fallen asleep. This has never happened with my previous SSRIs. Is this normal?

I'm going through the same thing, the side effects are up and down but the downs are really difficult. I'm on week 5 nearly into 6, how are you getting on?

Hello,
I had the same really struggled with insomnia. I am now on week 5 and have started to get diarrhea which i didn't have at the beginning. It has kicked my anxiety off again as i am worried that it is something else other than a side affect of fluoxetine as only just started on week 5, i have started to worry in case is bowel cancer. Did anyone experience this on week 5.
