Not sure how a person has 3 rectocele

I really do not understand how a person has all of the stages of a rectocele named bynumbers. My doctor explained to me that I had stage 4 rectocele because the rectum had relocated to a point of severity that it was stage 4. If it was a certain degree of need of repair it was stage 1 and with added severity it graduated to stage 2 then more severe to stage 3 and worst stage was stage 4 but not labeled all the stages, so I am not understanding.

However, I do wish you the best with your mother and your surgery/recovery. Glad your hubby is there to help you, too. Just take care of you!

    Yes that's how I understood it too Brenda. Graded 1 thru 4 depending on severity.
