Not sure what to do about my periods

For as long as I have had periods, they have been ridiculously heavy with bad cramps, so much so, a good few years ago I required a blood transfusion due to menorrhagia.

Pretty much since then I have been on a few different types of the pill. Currently on rigevidon.

The thing is though, I find that if I do take a break after 28 days of taking the pill, I still have heavy bleeding. Then if I take the pill with no break for a few months, I still bleed throughout that too, hence why I have been kin of experimenting with it.

I am very conscious about my iron levels as last year I had a blood test and the nurse said my iron levels were just and only just normal.

I am going to try and get a doctor appointment (or for now a phone call appointment), but does anyone have any advice for this? I just feel like whatever I do, I will bleed anyway.
