Not sure what to do, doctor won’t see or talk to me for a month.

Hello, I was wondering if anyone had any advice for me. I went into my primary care doctor Monday for Pap smear/exam, where the doctor pressed down on one of my ovaries and it hurt really bad. I told them that I’ve been having worse pain over the past few months while my cycle approaches. I had an ultrasound scheduled (for a different issue) Wednesday, but I was able to swap it for the pelvic ultrasound they suggested. The doctor I go to uses this app to report results/conditions and I saw yesterday that they added “Benign Ovarian Cyst” to my list of conditions. I tried to call and have an earlier appointment scheduled to discuss this with doctor, because after exam they said it would be about a month until my next appointment. I explained to them that ever since the doctor pressed on it I’ve been in pain, and really just want some information about it, but they said the doctor hasn’t reviewed the results yet. It’s now Friday, I’m a few days late on my period and the pain keeps getting worse. It’s only a dull ache when I am laying on my back or standing, but while sitting or twisting it intensifies. I was just wondering if it’s usual for results to take this long and if anyone has any advice of what to do in meantime. Thank you.

Hey there I got diagnosed with an ovarian cyst around 3 months ago.
I saw my family doctor for a pap as well and she had me get an ultrasound because I told her I have a lot of pain during periods.
I got my ultrasound the next day and my family doctor didn't even read the results until 2 weeks later when she called and booked me an appointment for a week later. She referred me to a gynecologist which took around a month just to get in. My ultrasound results even said it could be malignant.
I wouldn't worry about the amount of time. I get the same pain while sitting and twisting but mine is fairly large (about the size of a baseball) and it's a dermoid cyst. They can probably tell by the ultrasound that it's not anything too urgent. Try not to worry too much

I am sorry to hear about that but don't feel bad cause i had the same situation that u are in i had to deal with the pain for a whole year before my doctor referred me to a gyn to get an vaginal ultrasound i had cysts on both of my ovaries but the one on my right side disappeared and the one on my left side got taken out with my tube. Did a gyn doctor do a vaginal ultrasound? If i was u i would call your gyn doctor and let them know what is going on so they can rush it faster
