Not yeast or BV? Check for Ureaplasma!

I have lived with an undiagnosed vaginal infection for 6 years. itching, burning, discharge, redness. FINALLY after 6 years of being tested for bv, yeast, stds, etc. A new gyn tested me for Ureaplasma, a natural bacteria we all have in our bodies so thats why most doctors won't test for it. When it overgrows, it mimics the symptoms of BV and yeast. I was treated for BV AND Ureaplasma together; I had both. I promised after 6 years if I ever found an answer, I would share with other struggling women. If the standard tests don't fix the issue, ask about UREAPLASMA. Good luck ladies!

1 week of Flagyl (which I felt didnt help I was still super itchy) but my Ph went back to normal. And I'm currently in the middle of two weeks of Doxycycline 100 mg 2x a day. I have my period which i'm hoping doesn't set me back but we'll see. Lots of water and probiotics immediately after the doxy.
