Hi, I am going to post one of my guides below, read through it carefully and get back to my via the "Reply" button if you wish to clarify anything in particular:

    .

**What causes Red Bumps on the Head of the Penis **

What I think may well be the main problem is the skin of the head of your penis has become intolerant to either particular chemicals placed on it, or potentially, just about anything placed on it.

So, the bumps are naturally present on the head of the penis, only, we do not usually notice them, it is when the skin on the head of the penis becomes sufficiently irritated that they become noticeable.

    .

What you need to think about is everything that comes into contact with the skin on the head of your penis - this can be something as simple as soap, shower gel, other body wash, such as if you use hair shampoo in the shower and some gets onto the skin of your penis. Also, many men use Lubes of different kinds for masturbation and sex, these can be specific lubes, but many men use stuff like Baby Oil or skin cream as a lube, or regularly apply a skin cream to hydrate the skin of the penis.

What you need to do is to exclude anything such as this from getting onto your penis. Wash your penis with water only and make sure it is completely dry afterwards.

This will be an extended process as you may not see any change for 3, 4 or even 6 months or more of excluding all these chemical based items from getting onto the head of your penis.

Hello. I got these bumps after having sex multiple times unprotected without washing. I am starting to think I got an infection.

The bumps are a natural part of the make up of the penis. Most of the time most men do not notice them. It is only when they become irritated that we notice them.

Here is part of one of my other guides that applies to you:

      .

On the head / glans of the penis the most common cause of red spots is something that is causing irritation to the very sensitive skin. For a sexually active male who does NOT use protection the most common cause of irritation is yeast / fungal infection derived from penetrative vaginal sex. It is also possible to have a bacterial infection, particularly if anal sex has taken place, or there can be a combination of both yeast and bacterial infections present.

      .

What is most important to you is how long ago you first had unprotected sex?

In addition, you know about the importance of having protected sex, particularly if you have different partners and you have penetrative sex with them. To add to this, ignoring the need to keep your penile hygiene right makes even less sense.

I would suggest you go to any Sexual Health Service and get tested for the most likely STD/STI's at least, and, get some advice on dealing with the symptoms you have on your penis at the same time.
