Noticing heart beating

hi i am a 23 year old female. I've posted on her a few times but i cant seem to shake the feeling something is wrong. I have a heavy sort of feeling in my chest most days and pretty much everyday at some point i get pain in my chest! The second i get a pain or a weird feeling in my chest, before i can stop it my body goes into full panic mode where im numb, tingling, cant breathe etc!! I do have anxiety but can i have this every single day? Even when not feeling really anxious? It seems to be more that the pains bring on my anxiety rather than the anxiety bringing on the pain which scares me! Over a month ago i had 2 quick ecg's that were normal, bloods and a chest xray which were all normal but i'm still feeling uneasy about it! please someone help

    Hi Meghan,

So sorry to hear your going through this, anxiety is something out of a horror movie, from what you are saying i can almost guarantee you have anxiety like so many people, best to goto the doctor and get a checkup to rule out any other conditions first, once you have a clean bill of health trust me you have to 100 percent believe them. Going back and receiving more reassurance only keeps the anxiety cycle going.

If it makes you feel just a littIe better I have had anxiety all my life looking back but it was only 3.5 years ago everything changed when had first panic attack and had the worst 2 years dealing with 100s of symptoms even now i still have symptoms mainly heart racing and insomnia but alot of it has cleared up. To answer the question though absolutely you can have symptoms even when you dont feel anxious. Your nervous system is still on high alert .The best way to calm your body down is to float with the sensations and let them be dont react to them with time your body will begin to heal.

Exercise light walking does wonders, stay away from social media, news and all the negative b.s and surround yourself with supportive people and with a strong mindset you will start to feel so much better.
