Now at 30, I`ve been diagnosied with GS since about the age of 16 after my mum become concerned about my yellow eyes... Its only been the last 5 years that I`ve begun to feel the effects (or possibly relate them to) my GS.

I have constant yellowing of the very edges of the eyes but the center (the part seen by most people) remains unfected unless it hits me bad. I haven`t had yellowing of the skin (yet)..

I would agree that sleep, missing meals and stress all relate to a worsening of GS. I find that after the yellow eyes I would experience tiredness as the most obvious symptom, but I could include abdominal pain, and brain-fog/light headedness. As a matter of source I need atleast 8 hours sleep..

However I don`t active monitor my diet too much, I eat a balance diet but do eat a certain amount of fat (mainly as crisps) but I regularly go to the gym (3 times a week) doing weights and medium cardio workouts..

One thing most people don`t mention is that my stools are not as 'brown' as normal people - this is due to the reduced Biliburin that makes it way into the bowels..

I am 41 years old with pain under my rib cage,

I was diagnosed at age 34 from abnormal blood work.

shortly after I became ill with other things such as EB VIRUS,CYTOMAGLIA,and another one, not sure if any of this

is related but I believe it is a possibity. Now I have several

food sensitivities like wheat, dairy, food additives. My eyes

very rarly turn yellow just the outter edges, my bili is constantly

elevated at about 1.7, 2.0 I also have autoimmune thyroiditis.

My liver seems to get intoxicated very easily from anesthsia and

other medications. gilberts also seems to mess with my blood

sugar, fatigue, lighter stools, Isometimes worry about the pain

because my alt,ast have been elevaed before, but they go back

down. Ialso take very good care of myself and watch what I eat

    and drink.

I also have pain where my liver is like you and have also had all of the viruses, they made me extremly sick. The newest thing is the pain and it scares me when I work out it is bad I am also 41 years old. My bili also is always elevated at 2.0 I also have elevated ast and alt for alot of reasons usually intoxication by a prescription drug. Then it goes away I also have thyroiditis after the bout with the viruses. I also take very good care of myself I do not drink. But, my biggest worry is the pain that just started after about six years of knowing I have this condition that docters say does not effect your life. Maybe some but not me! It effect my life alot. IF anyone has experiance with this pain I would like to know your story I did not have pain before only for about 2 months now.
