Can I just ask out of curiosity, what symptoms you think the antibiotics have caused? My Crohn's always used to manifest itself by very frequent visits to the bathroom until earlier this year. I had a course of antibiotics and shortly afterwards, I was admitted to hospital with bowel obstruction due to inflammation. I was told that a flare is usually when the patient is suffering diarrhoea, but can also be describing an obstruction.  I became convinced that the antibiotics had caused or at least contributed to my situation.  What did the antibiotics do to you?

Sorry I can't comment on Imadazolium Oligomers! I will follow your discussion with interest though!

Hi esther, er don't think we can ingest it though ,well not yet but it seems to be a common ingredient in toothpaste ,soap, detergents ,Called Triclosan ,could this stuff be causing  the lining of our  gut to be destroyed , then Stomach reacting to all sorts of problems , like Crohn's ,IBS..etc etc.
