Now this :((

Today I was shopping with my kids. I had a couple of cookies in the car on the way.

We shopped and around 2 hours later we stopped to eat lunch. We had some chicken, hummus, taramasalata, bread lamb meat balls. The chicken was on skewers with peppers. I ate it enjoyed it but within 20 mins of finishing I felt really bloated.

Admittedly we ate a lot quite quickly ( stupid me with my stomach).

Within about 45 mins I had horrible belly ache and cramps. I knew I had to get to the loo. This is where it gets a bit graphic sorry.

The first poo was normal. So I carried on shopping. The cramps came back and my stomach was gurgling. So I went to the toilet again. The second poo was more urgent. It was really loose not total water but loose. After I had been again I carried on shopping but left soon afterwards. It's been almost 2 hrs now and no more poo. I'm just left feeling a bit nauseous and I feel like food is stick in my gullet and I have mild heartburn too.

My question is: could it have been the food I ate, the amount and speed of it on my fairly empty stomach. Could it have been the fat and the peppers in it. Why did I get diarroreah so quickly after? Is this part if my crappy digestive system again,? I'm not thinking gb as tests says it's ok.

    Hi Kim,

Hopefully I read all your post correctly, you have been having test but haven't proved that it's your gallbladder?

Those are reactions I have had to greasy, fatty ,spicey food too before I had my gallbladder removed. As for your "drumping stomach" I had that problem for over a year before being diagnosed . Just had mine removed a weeks ago.

Hope they get an answer to you soon, it's not fun to live with.

      Hi Gail

Yes I had the HIDA last week. My results were 53% before eating fatty food and 83% after. The report said normal gb activity but I think 83% is fairly high also considering the amount and type of problems I'm having. What are your thoughts pls ?

I agree Kim. I would really push those doctors and tell them how much pain this causes you ( I'm sure they know) and how it is effecting you caring for your kids,  that should pull at their heart stings and maybe move results and more tests along faster.
