Now this could be HIV now.

On March 15 I had an encounter. I had unprotected handjob and protected oral sex. A few days after I had itching and burning after urinating. A week after I felt bloated and wanted to urinate and I couldn't. After that I had small blood dots around my foreskin and the tip of my penis. At this time April 2 I went to go see a doctor and told me it looked like fungus. I took a STD panel test and They gave me a lotion to reduce the irritation which it did. The results took a few days and it came out all negative. This was 2 weeks after exposure which reading to me it was too early. Around the 3rd week my irritation came back and i would have lower back pain, leg pain, and slight fever. I would sleep it off and it would go away. I went to go see two more doctors and they said it was the same thing that it was impossible to get hiv from a handjob and protected oral sex. I feel that they dont understand how I feel from the inside. Fatigue, body aches, penis pain. The last doctor I saw was a urologist and he told me everything looked fine. On the 5th week after exposure I took a HIV RNA and herpes 2 and both came back negative. I read that there is a point in time where HIV can be detected between 3- 4 weeks. I tool the test on Labcorp. Its been almost 2 months after exposure and i had a sore neck that ended up having a sore throat. I had a white coating in the back of my throat, then it felt like my throat was swollen. It's May 13 got a throat swab a week before May 13 and they couldn't find bacteria for strep throat. Right now my throat is redish looks like red dots and mouth is kind of sensitive. At this point of time i am waiting to get the 3rd month mark to take a test because my symptoms lean on HIV. I am stressed and idk what else is causing my throat to feel like this.

Please help if you have had these symptoms and have gotten results.

      I think it is an STD because it went from my penis to my throat all this was after exposure.

    As you've been told you don't have any stds, you can't Catch hiv from hand job, and I'm telling you are wrong about hiv rna pcr test, this test would be positive after 15 days till you get medication for a long time and the it will become undetectable.

    So your pcr rna test is 100000000% conclusive.

    Your symptoms look like anxiety symptoms to me.

      I have been told by doctors that HIV is not the case. But the only way to make sure is to get tested.

      Yes and you did the tests. And the most accurate and expensive test, pcr rna, so be happy and thankful to GOD.

    While your symptoms are bothering you, it is not HIV. The virus is not transmitted this way and you would be the first person in likely billions of interactions to get HIV from a hand job. A protected b******b is also a non risk even so expect your test to be negative and try to find a way to move on from this thought process and/or look for something else.

      I was thinkin it was bacteria at first with the hand and penis contact. But after all the symptoms I am lost. More when the doctors have no idea either.

      I believe that your symptoms are real... i am not doubting you. I only wanted to point out that you should start investigating other causes. I would find another physician as well - someone who will work with you and help you identify what is going on. Perhaps speak with an infectious disease specialist who can hunt for strange virus/bacteria or see an ENT for your throat.

    James you are not alone, with the similar exposure.. i have seen in another forum for many cases, they are suffering even more than 5 years. still trying to find a diagnosis.

    i am having similar symtoms for more than 2 years, still trying to figure. You need to prepare for your stomach infection which i have next faced from strep throat. i think its a cycle, it was the case for many similar infected people.

      recently US & UK found a new bacteria on most people, it drives to sepsis issue.

      the bacteria name is Antibiotic resistant bacteria. if you are in UK or US, check this out for labs.

      I got my strep throat results back and it wasn't strep throat. The infection is viral.
