im seeing a doctor soon. i havent been sexually active for more than a year. the left side is a little itchy and ive soothed it with aquaphor. I dont know what this is

so this was likely due to me pulling and prodding at my vagina (im not gentle haha). after I left it alone for~ 45min, It didnt have this kind of irritated appearance. it went back to pink. i saw the gyno today and she didnt see anything abnormal either.
tbh, a lot of this stuff is psychological for me and I freak out at ANY little thing down there. thats why I sprinted to this forum, but i need to be sprinting to my therapist's office to calm down lol. seriously speaking, my thought process of "omg is this hsv" at any irritation is not healthy so im working through that.
sb: i also looked at your post and those bumps do not resemble hsv. take a breath.

totally relatable, i have so much anxiety with this. i drive my mind crazy, i have those same bumps!

it look all normal, nothing concerning. as you say over examine and checking can make it a bit irritated and red, totally normal
