Good morning, Yes, I get various numbness in feet, chin, tongue, lips and sometimes just lazy a nd ineffective all over from lethargy....including the numbness that changes daily or throughout the day. I have experienced this the whole way with pred or PMR (I suspect more PMR). Have a better day a buck up carry on and smile. Today is the day to celebrate your life......in whatever form it comes.....

I had numbness around my lips, face, and one or two fingers just before an eventual flare which I didn't recognize until after two separate visits to the ER who couldn't figure out what it was either. After the second ER visit (the first was for the numbness) for painful legs, I realized that it was a flare and upped the pred to 15 from 8 mgs. At the time I was concentrating on ulcer meds that distracted me from PMR symptoms.

did you have any other signs that it was a flare.

i dont think it was a flare , as the only other thing that was troubling me was my neck had swollen, and i had a slight headach, but after a couple of paracetomol and a full bottle water it was eighty percent better.

i was at my craft club when my neck and headache began i did wonder if it was because i had my head looking down at my work for four hours.
