Numb feet and leg due to Trapped Nerve.

Just a short question.

I have had back pain for nearly 10 years now and over the past 6 years my right foot has become numb with pins and needles pain, due I am told by a trapped nerve in my lower back.

Over the years I have had various injections, medication and surgery to free the nerve, non of which has helped. Over the past 6/9 months the numbness in my right foot is getting so bad that I may need to stop driving, my foot just feel like a solid lump with no feeling, hard to feel the pedals.

GP has suggested a return to the pain clinic, but I have taken that route 3 times already and they have not been of any help, therefore wondered if really I should see a Neuropathy specialist for some help, this has not been offered to me in the past?

Any suggestions.
