Hi Jim, I do get pins and needles running down my arm into my hand and palm sometimes into my pinky but its intermitent and doesn't last long...........I get shoulder pain and it sometimes feels like its being pushed out of position if that makes sense?

i started with numbness in my little finger , which spread to my ring finger then on to my middle finger , the physio thinks its caused by the F/S when a nerve gets trapped somewhere in the shoulder apparently the thumb and index finger are controlled by another nerve so are not affected. i too get the pins and needles , mostly if i am in bed .

Yes I think it is related to your FS for sure sad  Did you say this is your 2nd FS but affecting your other shoulder? I have read & my consultant has also said that if you have already had one FS you are at a higher risk at developing a second in your other shoulder sad  Oh the joys eh? I keep getting twinges in the other shoulder which scares me senseless sad Did you also know its quite rare for it to effect men?

yes this is the second time i have had it in 3 years , it seems those that get it in one can develop it in both , how lucky i am lol , the doctor told me it was mainly a female problem but men can get it sometimes caused by hormones , maybe im on the menopause lol

Oh god Jim twice? how awful sad  It does seem you are more likely to develop it in your other shoulder if you have already suffered with it once sad

Did you have surgery? I've had manipulation then he looked into my shoulder and took off some of the bone to give me more space and then he got rid of all the adhesions - The pain is now slowly improving - its been almost 6 weeks now, but movements are still resrticted sad he said he will see me next week and maybe do further manipulation? We will see! How are you doing this time round? I see you tried steriod injection? Was never offered that sad

hi linda , yeah i had surgery and after about 6 weeks it was brilliant no trouble after that except for the odd twinge , as i say though i got it again in my left shoulder now, thats why im having injections to try and avoid surgery sad i think you will be ok , just takes time i think , trouble is its time neither of us want to waste is it .

Lol yep you just want a quick fix after all the pain smile

Good good so glad it worked for you - & I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the injection works & you don't need the surgery!

The hospital just called & cancelled my app sad rebooked for 2nd April sad

You never know - might be a blessing in disguise - more physio might just do the trick - I can only hope! Good luck Jim smile

I've been told this comes from C2 or C3 neck vertebrae impingement. Sounds like you might have some neck involvement.  I also had some hearing problem off and on on that same side of my body. A medical massage person said my ear opening was actually almost shut. I had a lot of trouble with muscle spasms that was probably pulling my whole right side out of alignment

Hello,  I had numbing in my fingers for about 6 months leading up to frozen shoulder. I saw a Chiro for the numbing... which went away and then the shoulder started hurting. I had both shoulders freeze at once.  I got relief from the Cortesone shots and a Therapeutic Arthrogram.  My left shoulder lasted almost 2 years and the right about 13 months.  Its been almost a year since the shoulders released... however... I now suffer from a constant stiff neck.  I have about 95% of my range of motion back, but lifting heavy objects or using my arms alot cause discomfort that feels like its coming back. I'm seeing a limb specialist on Wed. hoping for a cure for the numbing and stiff neck.

I think its all connected somehow, I have had numbness in both hands always the 3 inner fingers , not the thumb or index , I was told the nerve that controls those fingers runs down the arm annd across the inside of the shoulder which traps it , F/S is a pig of an illness 😞
