Numb lung

Today I have been having this constant anxiety that there's a blood clot in my leg and the clot will move to my lung eventually. Me being me I googled the symptoms of my leg pain and the blood clot thing came up. I can't stop thinking about this now and the scary part is my lungs feel numb or I can't really feel myself breathe right now. Please tell me this is just something from my anxiety with health and not an actual blood clot in my lung.

Sometimes this happens to me, usually when im about to sleep. It feels like I can't feel myself breathing & then I gasp for air. I was told it's anxiety. However, DO NOT Google your symptoms. There was a study done & Google only came up correct 34% of the time when diagnosing. It's inaccurate & the diagnosises are very generald & mostly apply to old people with chronic illnesses. If you had a blood clot in you leg. You would know. Your ankles would be swollen. When i went to the cardiologist he would always check my ankles to see if they were swollen for any blood clots. Blood clots usually only happen to those who are over the age of 65, are extremely in active, obese, or smoke. If you don't do/have any of that, calm down. If you had a blood clot in your lungs, you would have extremely sharp chest pain when breathing & probably wouldn't be able to. Please stay off of Google. It's not helping the situation or your symptoms. It's just giving you more anxiety. Calm down, pray, meditate, eat healthy, excersise. Your fine. Don't self diagnose. Instead of Googleinh your symptoms, Google why you SHOULDN'T Google your symptoms. It helps.

I'm 16 and have some weight and inactivity issues but I have had a swollen leg on the right for most of my life and my anxiety recently took advantage of that since I was having pain and random warm feelings. Right now I tend to breathe better when I don't think about it too much but once I really notice it my breathing becomes really short or I basically gasp for air. I'm glad to at least know I'm not the only one who feels this terrible feeling. Been dealing with this anxiety for months now and it always comes up with something new every few days whenever I get a new ache or pain.

If you breathe better when you take your mind off of it, it's anxiety. If you've been dealing with your swollen leg for most of your life then it's probably nothing life-threatening. I would cintrol the weight & excersise more. Drink plenty of fluids also. You can go tell your parents or guardian what the issue is & ask that they take you to the doctor to confirm a diagnosis. I'm dealing with breathing issues due to kyphosis, anxiety, & acid reflux. I'm also 16 & it's a really horrible feeling

Yeah it's scary to think that anxiety is such a powerful thing that it can make even the most strongest organs go numb at times. I tend to also get muscle tightness in arms and legs. Really hate it when this stuff happens

And plus I just really hate having to get confirmation or question myself all the time whenever I get this stuff

Hey, this is a worry im dealing with right now too so I feel your pain. You just have to remember that it's very unlikely that you would have it and like someone above said you would be in pain breathing. That's what I'm telling myself! Anxiety sucks so much and I have battled with it for four years now but we are all here and you aren't alone!

Yeah the worst part about it is the fact my anxiety tends to make things feel numb or tightens up the muscles giving me some very uncomfortable pain. Kinda crazy to think that my anxiety is able to do that.

I know, it's scary, I get that too. I feel numb, tingly, sharp chest pains the works! But we just have to remember it's our body going into overdrive. It's easier said than done of course 😤 hang in there
