Numb thigh and pain in lower back, pls help I’m scared.

My anxiety is really high right now.

I've never had any problems with my back, but for the past 3 weeks I've had a numb thigh which has gotten worse since Sunday, I collapsed at work due to my thigh giving way and i couldn't walk.

I've woken up this morning, Thursday, with a horrible lower back pain.

I've already been to my dr to get referred for a mri but i have no idea how long i'll take to get seen, after i collapsed i rang 111 and they got an ambulance out and i went to the hospital but they did no tests and kicked me out because I could somewhat walk at that point.

Should I just go back to A&E or just wait what could be months for a scan?
