Numbness after amitriptyline withdrawal

Posted , 2 users are following.

I withdrew from amitriptyline about 9 months ago. I have chronic insomnia with headaches mostly in the right side of the brain. This make me feel numbness from the head (right side) to the mouth, heart, hand down to the leg. I'm in serious pains and cannot do anything. I can't use my right hand. I feel like dying. The drug was prescribed for me for insomnia and the result is chronic insomnia. I don't even know what it means to doze whether in the day or night - no sleep. Please, help.

Hi Imehimeh, it sounds awful, have you been checked for Hemplegic Migraines? I get these on the right side of my body, am in withdrawal at the moment and have severe parathesa, and am dragging my right leg at the moment. I dont get pains I get aches. Look it up.
