Numbness and Tingling

Hi there i recently woke up about 8weeks ago now , and had these strange sensations appearbon my face its like as if i have fallen into Stingy nettles face 1st ..or other way to describe it is like a burning sensation .. I jave like a dry mouth or no taste at all ..i have tingling in my fingers and numbness in my toes also feel as thoe when i walk im walking on blocks of wood and a strange sensation in the back of my head ..my bloods are all normal ..my blood pressure is fine as well any ideas any one please im thinking is it menopause and what can i take as i have had Breast Cancer 7 years ago now ..Thank you .Vanessa x

    Vanessa, you've posted this on a knee group, so it's not going to help specifically, but I would suggest going to your doctor again.  You've obviously been once to have bloods done but as far as I'm aware these are not symptoms of menopause.  It sounds like a nerve problem or something like that and I would be going back to my doctor urgently to get referred somewhere for this.  I hope you can get it sorted and wish you all the best!

      Hello Chris So sorry!! Im new on here and really just didnt realise i thought id posted it on Menopause or even numbness and Tingling but thank you for your advice much appreciate it : D x

      No worries Vanessa, but I do think you should see your GP asap.  I must admit it went through my mind, could it be some sort of brain thing, but I didn't want to scare you when it was  wild guess, but reading what Clive said did get me concerned for you, so I would ask for an urgent appointment and push to get this checked on.  I do wish you all the best!

    As you have already been told wrong forum, however my wife has had a tumour and part of her lung removed, she had the same face symptoms, you need to see your doctor.

      Hello Clive im Sorry i posted it on the wrong one im new and just trying so hard to find an answear has the dr dosent seem much help and avnt a clue what is going on with me!! : / i have had my bloods done all have come back normal my thyroid normal .. 1st time i went i got sent yo get my nloods done 2nd time i went i got i had high blood pressure ..went back 3rd time now im been told i have a defincy in my B12 / factrel i think its called but i take B2 vitamins .. I have had Breast Cancer 7yrs ago now ..and was thinking it could be something to do with the Medication i was takeing as my Imune system is so low ..just before i started haveing these Strange Sensations i was Seriously ill and was given 900mgs of Antibiotics .. So strange im not usually ill but when i do get a common cold mine always turns into a Virus ..but Thank You for your Help and i will deffinatly go back and wont move untill they come up with somthing to Help Me ..Really starting to effect my Life now .. ; ( x

    Hi Vanessa, have they tested your calcium levels? Low calcium can give that strange feeling over the face & head. I can't describe as it didn't happen to me, luckily.

    But a colleague who'd also had Thyroidectomy had this the day she was due for discharge & had to stay in an extra day whilst they sorted it out!
