Hi...for the past 2 years ive had problems with my muscles in my legs and arms..pins and needles..constant burning pain in my muscles..and recentky got diagnosed with fibromyalgia...the problem is 2 weeks ago i out of no where felt pain in the left side of my face..this pain brought on numbness on the left side of my face..i felt like overnight this pain would go..but the next day it was still there..it never went away and come back..it was constant from morning till night..the next day then (day 3) i had a massive headache on the left side of my temple/head...which lasted to day 5..day 5..the numbness went away..but the headache was still there..i started feeling very dizzy..it felt like i could just fall on the floor when walking with how dizzy i was..day 6 and 7 i felt the same..except i started feeling sick..like i could jist vomit at any point...day 8 till present day..the headache on the left side of my head has gone..except the headache now feels more at the back of my head and top of my head..and again im still feeling very dizzy and sick...my vision seems fine..but i am finding it more difficult to concentrate...doctor thinks its a 'migraine' but ive had migraines in the past (once a year) and it lasts for a day and my vision seems zig zaggy when reading..this has lasted 2 weeks and my vision is fine..i feel like my doctors think im making this up when it could be something serious..what do i do when my doctor is writing me off?

I've had the same symptoms since last September, numerous visits to the doctor, I was told migraine, then tension headaches and one even said anxiety. Saw a new doctor and she asked if any of them had taken my blood pressure, they hadn't so she did it and it was through the roof, I'm on meds for it now but was still feeling much the same, another doctor sent me for a neck xray ( I have two forms of arthritis) and it revealed severe neck osteoarthritis and slippage in my neck too, doctor said this would cause all the symptoms I've been having. I'm now having physiotherapy, hope it helps me
Go back to doctor and demand answers
Good luck!

I've had similar symptoms and have cfs/me which has overlapping symptoms of fibromyalgia. This bright weather has increased my visual migraines (can't remember the name of those right now as not feeling too great with my condition) headaches and has increased my exhaustion too as well as other symptoms. When I'm not doing so good, straight lines appear more diagonal and writing seens slanted. The rest of the time, my eyes don't do this. Nothing is picked up on eye tests. So understand your frustrations!
Ask your doctor for more tests to help reassure you.
