Nursing patient with Severe Aplastic Anaemia

Hello.  Could someone tell me what are the best nursing practices for an older patient with Severe Aplastic Anaemia while in hospital i.e. washing of hands, masks and movement from one part of the hospital to another wsith respect to infection control.  Is there a nursing handbook for treating patients with this disease that I could obtain.

Thanks.
