Nuvaring questions and advice

Hi all,

I'm in a long-distance relationship. My boyfriend and I will be spending the weekend together on a romantic getaway (we couldn't be together on Valentine's Day so this is our make-up). We'll be using the Nuvaring, which I recently switched to from the Pill, and I have a few questions. Is it as effective as the Pill? Should I remove it for intercourse, or leave it in? If I leave it in, will my boyfriend be able to feel it? Many thanks for any input!
