I have PBC. I love my cup of coffee in the morning. My Liver Say coffee is ok. However, I keep reading articles that says to stop drinking it. Any of you with PBC what are your thoughts on this? Love to get your imput Thanks in advance!

Coffee is actually well known as a liver tonic. Specifically, it reduces liver cancer in those with cirrhosis.
Don't know if there are specific contraindications with PBC, but your doc should be able to explain if coffee is ill advised.

Thanks Bill for your imput. My Liver Specialist thinks it's ok, but then again He's located in Seattle, Washington what there is a Starbucks on every corner. Lol... In the Pacific Northwest we are all wired on caffeine. On a serious note, I keep seeing information to not drink coffee if you have PBC.. Thanks, for your imput. Jo
