our mind often needs an object to focus upon..
by its very nature.. mind is focussing on something
and we focus on thing which is either bothering us.. or it has become " addiction of thinking"
my mother has similar repititive thought of bother when she will fall sleep..
restlessness of thoughts will not bring sleep..
I keep repeating this thought with deepest relaxation and very slowly
"i am peaceful and relaxed"
" I love being in this peaceful state"
"my whole body is relaxed, my brain is peaceful and relaxed"
