Occasional thin stools

Have had strange alternating stools for a few weeks. No blood. Have changed my diet. No red meat. No dairy. Went to gp prescribed Bentyl. Very nervous about this. Had colonoscopy 3 years ago. Anyone else have this happen? Stressed out.

    Did your doctor mention IBS since you were prescribed Bentyl?

      Has Bentyl and diet change helped?  You can always try a different antispasmodic if Bentyl has not worked.  Sometimes, with IBS, food is not the trigger.  Mine is stress which makes IBS worse.

      Maybe try more fruit such as grapes, oranges and prune juice to ease the constipation.  I use Buscopan which helps the pain with no side effects.
