OCD

Does anyone have any tips for dealing with OCD like how it can scan your memories looking for things you feel guilty or shameful about and making you obsess about it

Like things I haven't thought of in years but suddenly thought about it

Puberty is weird time and there's a lot of things that I can think about on and wince

Never hurting anyone or anything like that

But my OCD has always been jumping from obsession to obsession especially if it can scan my memory for any shred of evidence like I remember watching a YouTube video for OCD and someone mentioned POCD and my mind starting asking doing the compulsions that I've come to now as the beginning of another obsession so does anyone who has been through the journey of OCD have any advice about how to let things go

Even when I accept and deal with my obsessions they say around

If the obsessions don't interfere with your daily life like if can't study or work , at home if you can't relax , the thing is maybe you Ignore your thoughts live with them , that's what they told me on ocd site , maybe st.john wort treats ocd but talk to your doctor or pharmacist , Paxil and I bealive Zoloft treats as well, not 100 sure YHWH Bahasam Yahawashi bless/Barack

I am a bit like that with flashbacks to earlier parts of my life which I try to change, but the images remain the same, because my brain is not strong enough to blot them out, so I need some chemical help, that is, Clomipramine, Anafranil, which will help you to cope, and override some of the past, and say to yourself, so what, I need to move on.
