It sounds like you may have a bit of health anxiety also.

Go back and speak to your doctor as your meds may need reviewed

Wow. I really feel for you..

    Perhaps hypnotherapy?

It's very relaxing and may help.

    Well done for seeking advice.

Hi this sounds very much like health anxiety.  It's quite common.   You need to go back to the doctor and get your meds either upped or changed.  Have you ever had any counselling and did it help?  x

    Hi amanda

I think citalopram isn't the right AD for you. Your thoughts of illnesses are related to your depression/anxiety not being treated correctly. Please go back to your gp and be very assertive and honest In how you are feeling. It's taken me a year to get better, I was on citalopram for six months at varying doses. It didn't work for me at all. Don't waste anymore time on a med that isn't working. The right AD will make the sun come out for you again ♥♥♥

    Hi Amanda

Please consult your doctor and share your anxiety.

With meds and therapy, you can get better. There is no reason to sit back and bear this stress.

    take care
