Odd brain feings

hoping someone can help. having odd sensations in my brain off and on for awhile now. feels like my brain blinks is the only way I know to describe it. very scary. one of the worst episodes it felt like my brain was shutting down or something and I didn't feel like things were real like stepping off an elevator. like my legs weren't mine, brain wasn't mine etc... I know my post sounds weird but hoping someone might have an idea what's happening. I tried explaining to my Dr about it he didn't seem concerned or that intrigued just prescribed me Celexa which I haven't taken.
