Odd Dots on Penis and Red Patches on Head

Could this be mere irritation, oil glands, or perhaps something more serious? something else i noticed starting today were these two almost crater like areas under the head of my penis. Never noticed them before but I am unsure if they're new or if I just never noticed them.image

Christian, can I just check what age you are? So what you see on your penis is the result of a combination of different things: the crater type areas for example could simply be the way in which your foreskin has developed. This in itself can be linked to frequency of masturbation and the amount and type of pressure you apply while masturbating, or if you have regular extended sex sessions, for example.

The area of slightly different coloured skin you have circled in photo 2 may suggest that your foreskin was firmly attached to different layers of itself at one time, you may have found it difficult to expose the head of your penis when you where in your early teenage years, or you may not have noticed this at all?

In terms of spots the ones on the shaft of your penis are likely to be something that is naturally present. However, the skin on the head of your penis has completely lost its natural state, and some refer to this as a pH balance. For most men this is caused by years of exposure to regular body cleansers such as soap, shower gel and other forms of body wash getting onto the head and foreskin of the penis.

When the skin is like this the only safe thing to use is water, so wash the penis with running water only, when you shower do not apply soap or other body cleansers to the penis. When you get in the shower draw the foreskin as far forward as it will go to protect the sensitive skin of the inner foreskin and the head itself. At the end of the shower make sure to rinse away all traces of soap and all body cleansers you have used from your entire groin region - then make sure the skin of the penis is completely dried.

If you can exclude all chemicals from contacting the head of your penis, you need to do this for 4,5 6 or even more months before you may even start to see any real difference in the skin on the head of the penis …..

Hey Dugie, thanks for your input, but i think you're misinterpreting my concern. I know my head looks like that and that its natural. I'm 23 and been circumcised my whole life, so no foreskin in present. My concern is that this area right here which features two or three "lines" only appeared in the last two days, and four days ago i engaged in unprotected oral sex. It's a bit hard to see here, but when looked at with the naked eye, the circled area appears to have two-three circular/oliptical regions. When i stretch the skin out these areas become almost invisible and blend in with the surrounding skin, however there is still a faint outline at a second glance. I'm just unsure if this area looks like any kind of STD or if this could be from teeth marks. My biggest apprehension to saying this is an STD is that the "lesions" move with the skin and seem to be a natural part of it. There is also no pain. But I also know these are new "marks"because I'm confident that I would have noticed this if it had always been there.

what "wee" is trying to say that because you are circumcised your skin loses its luster because of the constant unprotected features of the foreskin and as a result you may be seeing this because you are getting older. circumcised or not you still have what's referred to as the inner and outer foreskin. inner foreskin being the lighter colored skin under your penile glans(head) and the outer foreskin being from the base of hour penis to your circumcision scar. the wrinkle is because your skin is dried out and as a result it is sticking weirdly
