Odd little pink bump on uncircumcised shaft under penis head

Posted , 2 users are following.

Weird little welt under my penis head that doesn't like when I masturbate. I also sparingly get those little red dots on my head after masturbation or intense sex..

Am I ok? I recently got a blood test and urine test and discovered myself to be in fine condition but I need some Clairty..I just really hope it isn't warts or herpes.

Can provide pics. Help?

Would be helpful if you provide a picture although since your bloodwork proved out to be clear, there's little I can say.

Is this "welt" painful? are those red dots all over your penis head? did you had unprotected intercourse with someone of unknown status?

Genital herpes or balanitis are the most common conditions occuring, especially the latter in uncircumcised males. The primary symptoms for balanitis include tightened foreskin which might have caused a blood vesel to swell up and form a bump under your foreskin, discharge and itchy genitals.

However, you need to make yourself clear in regards to your risk and what you feel. If providing pictures is an option, please send right away.

I'll wait, just keep me updated.

Hi, thanks for the response.im not entirely sure how you post pics here yet, but I've taken a couple already.

The dots are on the head and only appear after some sort of sexual contact for a prolonged period. As for the welt, it only really gets uncomfortable when I masturbate too often so I'm guessing it's just not getting proper lubrication. There isn't any discharge, itching, or tightening of the foreskin; but it does turn red with the same response as the other two.

I had a one night stand with someone a couple of months ago I wasn't too keen on. I initially ran to the doctors on instinct and came up fine then..and just fine this time around also. I'm still leery though.

Sounds like thrush or genital herpes. Might also be friction bumps from sex since you mention it occuring right after intercourse.

Got to your local drug store and ask for an anti-fungal cream and start applying. If it doesn't clear up in a the following week, consulting a specialist is highly advisable.

Is the person you're having sex with a woman who constantly shaves her vagina? That might be a very possible cause since the hair follicles are inflammated and they either outbreak into a folliculitis or the remaining hair pubes are stingy due to being trimmed ( happened often to me).

Get your cream and if it doesn't clear away in a week, contact a doctor.

Oh and by the way, you can upload pictures clicking on the fore-most right icon near the Bold, Italic fonts and smile emoticon symbol. There should be an icon which enables you to upload pictures.

Take care and wait to hear from you with those pictures and overall situation.

So I went to my local gum clinic and was dismissed promptly after the physical examination didn't look like anything..

I worried naturally, but got the igg&igm blood test done and called back today having been negative for both hsv-1&2. Huge sigh of relief and can continue a healthier safer sex life.
