Odd nerve pain in ankle that runs down my foot

So for a while now I've had what I can only describe as a weird nerve pain on the top of my outside ankle on my left foot. It doesn't hurt all the time, but if I touch that certain spot or sit on it wrong it sends a tingling sensation down the top left side of the foot all the way to my fourth toe. There seems to be a small tendon or nerve that I can move with my fingers in that spot on my ankle that is not on the other foot. I kinda just want to know what nerve that would be and if there is anything serious that I should be worried about. Thank you!

morton's neuroma could cause what you have described. see a podiatrist for xrays to determine the exact cause treatments .
