Odd reaction to steroid injections...anyone else?

I Just had two injections in my lower back. f4, f5 s1...it's been a long time since I've had any steroid injection or taken prednisone, and I forgot of this odd reaction.

I get all over body pain. the only way i can describe it is i feel like i have a headache in my bones. in addition to insomnia. hopefully the shots will work and be worth this short term discomfort.

Any one else experience this? Any idea why it happens? Doctors just shrug... even Dr. Google.
