Oddly light period

Posted , 2 users are following.

ive been on hormonal birth control for about two years now, and although my period has gotten slightly lighter, it has still been a pretty reasonable amount. This months cycle was unusually light, like it was basically spotting for 4 days, i could have worn 1 panty liner a day easily the whole cycle. Why did this happen? i havent had any significant change in weight lately, and i dont feel any more stressed than usual. i recently read about cryptic pregnancy and now im a little scared. the last time i had sex was 8 months ago, but ive taken my birth control every day consistently since i first got it. is there any explanation why my period could become so light suddenly

Possible ovaries issue. I believe it is because of birth control. Once you stop taking the tablets everything should go back to normal over time. its difficult to say whether you could get pregnant after 8 months of not having sex. Birth control would of eliminated the sperm cells.
