Oesophagus pain on left side for 4 months with feeling of lump in my throat

Hi,

I wonder if anyone has had the same kind of symptoms and could put my mind at ease.

I have had a pain at one specific area of oesophagus (at the very top near voice box) for around 4 months now sometimes its just a dull ache and other times the pain intensifies, its just there all the time really. I also feel like i have a lump in my throat around the same area when i swallow although i don't struggle to eat. I've also noticed at times there is a dull pain in my ear on same side. My GP referred me to an ENT and I had a camera down my nose and throat and he said everything clear.

I am going to make an appointment with my GP to see if i can have my oesophagus checked since everything came back clear with the ENT.

I'm so worried.

    i should add i do get heartburn but not all the time
