Constant Off Balance
Male, 27
I have been having constant off balance for last five months now, most days this is severe in mornings? upto 10am. And sometimes having in night also that time i feeling dry mouth , heaviness in head and tired face , fatigue, increased heart beat, and two times i felt i was faint in sleep but not sure. i visited ENT and Neurologist they prescribed medicines for vertigo, minere disease, nerve damage, but there's? no improvement in my case. I did master health check up with ECG and MRI of head and came out everything normal , my blood sugar and Bp is normal and now last one month often feeling hotness in air when i exhale and i loss weight of 3kg in last one month. Finally i checked my Hemoglobin is 15, my b12 is 220 pg/mL so am confused is it possible to have normal normal hb and low b12 ? And am not strict vegan too ; please give your suggestions in my condition

Perfectly possible to have normal haemoglobin and low B12. You say you aren't a strict vegan, but do you limit how much meat and fish you do eat?
220 is quite low for B12, and it is likely you can have symptoms at that level. Has your doctor suggested you take a supplement to improve it?

Yes my doctor prescribed me for b12 shots for once in a week for one month, and also suggested me to check thyroid as am losing weight and exhale hotness.

As Marion says your BP can be quite normal yet you could be deficient not only in Vitamins B12, Folate and iron.
A low hemoglobin level count is generally defined as less than 13.5 grams of hemoglobin per deciliter (135 grams per liter) of blood for men so your level is at the low end of the scale.
As for your B12, without knowing the range <from - to> used by the laboratory it is difficult to comment on how low it is but again it may be borderlne.
?Do you happen to know what your Folate level is? Folic acid works closely with vitamin B12 in making red blood cells and helps iron function properly in the body so if you are deficient in one or other they won't be working properly.
Again, as Marion queries - What does "am not strict vegan" really mean as the only natural source of Vitamin B12 is by eating animal products and although some of it can be "recycled" we only have a limited amount stored in our liver and as this gets used up it need replenishing from our daily diet.
Apart from your "not strictly vegan" diet it would be good to know if you take any medications like antacids for tummy troubles, have had any gastric surgery, or have any other diigestive diseases and conditions which block absorption (Celiac, Crohn’s, IBS, etc.)

Hello clive thanks for your reply ,
My laboratory b12 range is 180--920 as they mentioned in my report. And i didn't had any surgeries and digestive problems apart from having? stomach upset when off balance sensation is high. One more thing I can remember that i had two times fever within three months for urinary infection and stomach infection. After few weeks only i started getting this balance problem, it could be a reason ? Or i taken medicine for peptic ulcer , but that one only for fifteen days ; and as i mentioned am not strict vegan i eat non veg once in a month but i daily take eggs.

The medication you took for the peptic ulcer will have reduced the acid level in your stomach which is necessary to "grab" the B12 in your food as it goes down and I'm not sure that your only having taken the medicine for 15 days will have caused your low B12 but it is a possibility.
Do you still have the symptoms of the peptic ulcer and are you taking antacids?

Now i already started b12 shots once per week , two shots completed now but still can't feel any noticeable changes in my off balance
How long it will take b12 shots to react ?
Is it normal ! Or could be other reasons? for in my case ?

There is no set time for improvement and a lot will depend on how long you have been deficient. Some symptoms may even appear to get worse before they get better.
I had a perforated peptic ulcer at the age of 17 in 1959 and had two thirds of my stomach removed. This led to me being diagnosed with P.A. in 1972 by which time I was a walking Zombie and put on monthly B12 injections.
However there is life after P.A. as I'm still "clivealive" at 75
