Hey there, ive come to terms that this is probably herpes but a little background, ive been with the same guy 5+ years and neither of us had anything like this before (ive had some itching here and there but nothing sore-like). if i got it it was a long time ago and i just didnt know. it came about 3 days ago, a day after we had a very small finger-poke sex "injury" in the affected area. it was really itchy the next night when it started (which i did scratch that night and part of the next morning) after that first night it got pretty swollen just on the bottom half of my labia minora of the left and nowhere else. the second day it was still pretty swollen and red. when i go to the bathroom it does sting and when i dabbed (pretty hard cause i wanted to make sure it was dry) there was a few tiny spots of "pus?", by the second half of that day the swelling was less but still hurt to touch directly. today the swelling it pretty much gone beside what you see in the picture (im gonna try to add them below), but it has the little sores. ive been using wipes over it which may not have helped... i have put tea tree oil and coconut oil on it a couple times a day and it feels good until i use the bathroom again and it gets wiped off. very far fetched but maybe theres a teeny tiny chance these are something else 😛

I would make an appointment asap to be swabbed. If the sores are gone by the time of the appointment I would show them these pictures. If your office is anything like mine, they will only permit a blood test when you've been exposed or have ulcerations. Since you've been with the same partner for years, your IGG should be accurate, IF you have herpes.

yea unfortunately i only had the ulcers for that one day and its pretty much healed now. i didnt have any scabbing after either. or blisters before the ulcers. i will definately show them the picture when i go to the gyno.

See, since you said they left after a day that's uncommon with herpes, especially if its your first. I can't say anything definitive that will help you because your symptoms are not concrete. PLEASE fill me in when you go to the dr.

hey! just to let you know, i havent gotten a chance to get tested yet, i was advised to wait about a month to make sure there would be antibodies (since everything healed sooo fast), but i will still come back and update!
