Olanzapine 15 mg

Hi, I would like to ask for which conditions is Olanzapine 15 mg per day used for an adult and if can cause decreased libido and erectile dysfunction in males.

Also what is the best way to coming off this treatment?

    If you're asking the question about conditions for which it's prescribed on behalf of yourself, it might be better to discuss it with the doctor who prescribed it. Yes, unfortunately it can cause decreased libido and erectile dysfunction. The dosage should be reduced very slowly and under strict medical supervision, as stopping too quickly can result in the condition for which it was prescribed returning in an exaggerated form.

    The last two points are true for all drugs in the anti-psychotic group (and some anti-depressants) though different members of the group vary in the severity of side-effects.

    The symptoms of of psychotic conditions

    Like schizophrenia and bi-polor (manic

    Depression)

    It can cause many side effects including

    Loss of libido.
