OLP (Oral Lichen Planus) under tongue?

Has anyone had this? I keep getting a layer of skin (or whatever it is) over the OLP under my tongue, which peels off, leaving a slightly bloody, red, sore spot, and another layer forms over it immediately. This keeps repeating.

I've had OLP for about 2 months now under my tongue. The first time it peeled, another layer didn't form. In fact, it was painless and I wasn't bothered by it. But the last few days it's been peeling, and forming over again and has become quite annoying. I changed my toothpaste, so perhaps that was a trigger. I'm not even sure.

Has anyone actually had what I'm describing and been able to cure it effectively?

I'm consider laser treatment to completely remove it. Has anyone heard of laser surgery under the tongue to remove this?

Thanks

It is called sloughing. It is skin that is shedding in your mouth. Contact a Periodontist. It can’t be cured but it can be contained.  I have OLP with sloughing. My Periodontist is having trays made after taking impressions of my mouth. She will prescribe medication to use with the trays.
