Has anyone stopped omeprazole 20mg after taking it for 3 weeks,? was there any acid rebound and if so how long did it take to resolve ?

everyone reacts to medication differently, i try to not take much medication but if omeprazole doesn't suit you other medication might. i take gaviscon only as i react to so much!

the thing is omeprazole suited me but also gives me constipation. beside I have been on it for 3.5 weeks so want to start coming off but worried about rebound symptoms

hmm maybe it was good then? you could either increase your fluid intake or come off it and try gaviscon as you do. whatever you do do it SLOWLY oh and with support. it wouldn't do you any harm to speak to your chemist they're always good at knowing you best and recommended the best thing to do.
