Omeprazole not working

Can anyone help? I have suspected Acid Reflux and I have been taking Omeprazole for 3 weeks, I have only noticed a very slight improvement in my condition and I'm wondering if I should stop taking them or do they take much longer to take effect. I have to say I'm not too happy taking them with all the side effects!

I was on it for some time I’ve tried all of them don’t get on with any of them. Lansoprazole is the only one where side affects are bearable. I’m on Zantac (ranitidine) I can bear this no

Side affects works in a different way to omezprazole but if you can’t stand PPIs then I recommend this get doctor to pescribe 300mg of ranitidine.

    Definitely don’t increase the dose!

look into natural, dietary ways of sorting this out! This drug has horrible life changing side effects, most people are deficient of stomach acid and this is why they experience  burning symptoms!

Omeprazole and ppis do not stop reflux, it’s stops you producing stomach acid, stomach acid is there for a reason... start doing your own research, google it!

Google low stomach acid and how to treat it.. there are ways other than taking this drug.
