OMG eyelashes now !

Suddenly ive just realised I've hardly got any eyelashes left, feel sick about it. Anybody else and any good mascara tips ? Every day something else........ Morning routine is dentures where ive lost a few teeth , trying to make my thin hair look thicker with sprays, mousse you name it I have it,  don't hhave to pluck my eyebrows anymore there's hardly any left and now my lashes, oh my gosh suddenly it takes sooooooo long to look acceptable before I go out, even my cat looks horrified when he looks at me ! How depressing is this ! Im trying to see the funny side of it all but it's hard. How come other ladies my age look so lovely and I just look like a witch ! Aaaaaaahhhhhh had enough of it all x

    You gave me a chuckle I know about trying to have a sense of humor thru all of this! I have been using stuff on the market I don't think I can name the brand but it helps grow eyelashes and eyebrows you can use coconut or jojoba oil to help condition your eye brows and eye lashes! With your hair for me I can't use any products in it other then hairspray if I use mousse or gel my hair is hard to style and I use to be a hairdresser I also seem to grow hair where I hadn't before seriously lol I have mentioned before there is a woman on youtube who used to be a dr her name is menopausal Barbie she did a great video yesterday explaining what we go thru she has a bunch of videos which I feel are very helpful hope that helps

      Thank you I'll look at that video that's a great help - I used to be a hairdresser aswell back in the day , I remember thinking of those poor ladies with thin hair and thinking how lucky I was to have long thick glossy hair and now im one of those other ladies ! ..... Last time I had my hair cut the hairdresser said " oh your hairs quite thin isn't it "..... I thought THANKS ! I don't need reminding, my hair is dark and she suggested that I have it dyed blonde and the thin areas won't show so much !!!! Ha ha only costs a hundred pounds, I don't think so ! Oh and another symptom is having a short fuse and suggesting I dye my hair blonde is not a good idea ! Ha ha😂

    Eye lashes are just the same as your hair. They have a certain length of life and that is it. Mine usually fall out around Christmas - just in time for the party season!rolleyes But I do find that coconut oil is a good conditioner (inside and out) and they do grow back - just not when you want them.

      Thanks for the tips, I'll try some. Good job I don't feel like partying I can't be bothered glueing falsies on my eyelids - bad enough with the teeth ! 😁

    Get your vitamin D checked I get my eyes lashes falling out and also falling and thinning hair that is a symptom of vid D being low

    Hi Fairy. It's no fun is it hun. i use a conditioning eyelash tonic at night that costs about £10, it does reduce breakage & fall out & doesn't sting eyes or stain the skin. you just put it on like mascara at bedtime. when i wear mascara i also use an eyelash primer before putting mascara on - it helps stop the mascara smudging under eyes, conditions lashes & adds volume & length more than if you'd just used mascara on its own. I'll send you a private message with the products i use. x

    I manage to get fairly long eyelashes even though I don't have long ones by using R-mm-- mascara the dark red one its better if I dont wash it off totally all the time and I can get a build up on my lashes, have been asked if they are false too lol, I also when they are wet with mascara push the lashes up with brush and hold it there for abit to get a curl x
